Default did anyone see the fatal accident today?

at around 6pm we were driving home from a good diner at OG as we passed by potranco and 151 I saw the most fatal accident I have ever seen! it was horrible some poor man got runned over. First of all I noticed some one lying on the floor and I told my girl to look away. but we just couldnt help it there was a big puddle of blood in the middle lane. we were there till EMT's and the cops showed up No one wanted to move because they were blocking the person who did it, i guess he/she wanted to get away. EMT's got up to the person and covered him with yellow tarp. I did manage to catch a glimpse of his face it was as if he fell on a belt sander poor man! when we passed the intersection I looked at the gas station and I saw an empy motorcylce lying on the driveway so I was guessing he was riding it. then a ford truck up on the shoulder underneath the bridge. I couldnt stomach that anylonger so as the cops were directing us to the access road of 151 I pulled over on the side and hurled. May that poor man's soul rest in peace.

It was a guy on a blue Harley that T-boned a truck. Supposedly he ran a red light.

I didn't see it, thank God. There was yet another accident today at Timber Path and Tezel--no fatality, but damn, people! Slow down and pay attention. That intersection should not be so dangerous. I don't get it!

If its meant to be that way then so shall it be. It's all the mighty lord's doing there was nothing that could of been done. Except taking extra precausion.

Came by there from the HEB, was glad to be detoured around that. I was there at about 5:50 or so. The Police had arrived and the FD, he had already been relieved of all pain

Truly a tragic story. I'm so sad for everyone involved. I'm also sorry you witnessed the aftermath up closely before the scene was contained. I remember vividly seeing a horrible accident for the first time....I can still see it. I serves to remind us how fragile we are. I had the same reaction....overwhelming sadness and sickness.

youre lucky dude his face looked horrible the Firefighters were spreading that rock/powder that absorbs oil all over that blood puddle. we were there for a good 20 minutes I guess it barely had happend when we got there.

And yesterday some dragg racer lost control of his car and ran over their fence not to far from that accident.

Yes, it does give one a new perspective, I think. We all just need to slow down and get there alive. I'm still haunted by a high school friend's fatal car accident--and it's been 27 years since that happened. I didn't even see it--just her vehicle afterwards. I'll never forget her mom still talking to her like she hadn't passed. Freaked all of us out.

Sapphire....we really do need a wake up call...especially with so much complaining about the traffic. A few years ago my daughter lost a close college friend to a drunk driver entering an exit ramp at 50mph. Her friend driving survived but her close friend was badly disfigured. This happened the weekend school got out for Christmas break. I will never forget that courageous mother. This was her ONLY child.....and she was beautiful. Her first reaction was to have a closed casket at the funeral, but when over 400 college students showed up to the funeral, she decided to leave it open. My daughter was completely shaken by viewing her friend in such a state, but she definitely had her eyes opened. I thank that blessed woman for allowing her daughter to be a symbol of how precious life is. I can still cry thinking about it.
