Default Has anyone moved To San Antonio from Mexico

My child has to interview someone for school who can speak Spanish and moved to San Antonio from Mexico can anyone answer these three questions? 1. When you first came to the U.S. what was the hardest thing for you? 2. Did you ever want to go back? 3. What or who made it easier for you to feel better in the U.S.? If anyone can help me I would appreciate it we are very new to the city and don't know anyone yet and don't feel comfortable going up to just anyone on the street. Thanks

i am the some of a bracero. he loved san antonio off the bat, mostly because my mother was here. he said the hardest challenge he had was the prejudice, but this was in the 60's. not that it does not exist today though. he never moved back, but he is not a citizen. he does however have a permanent visa. we have many communities in the south and west side of town where you can associate and do business in spanish all day long and i frankly am very proud we can have a bilingual society here.

My wife did emigrate to the US from Mexico. She has been here 3 years now and has a Permanent Resident Card (aka...Green Card) She is in the process of submitting her application for Naturalization and should be a US citizen by the end of 2009. If you want to ask her anything..feel free.
