I know for a fact that the Salvation Army will. We have donated all sorts of stuff to them and they always pick it up. That includes a huge sectional sofa.

I hate to use the Salvation Army because they will sell it -- The Medina Children's Home , which I have used before really appreaciate anything they get and they will also come by and pick it up. (830) 589-2871 Good Luck

I second Medina Children's Home. I called them yesterday to pick up our sofa, and they're coming today.

what's wrong with selling it? the money they make goes to people that need it and they hire a lot of people. The base I used to work on (Medina) used Salvation Army employees to do the landscaping work.

You can also put it in the free section of Craigslist. I've used this section to give stuff away as well as when I badly needed something... like recently when I needed a bed for my son after his futon fell apart. I am VERY thankful someone was giving away a perfectly good, clean bed.
