Hello,
I'm new to this forum and so far I love all the helpful information and tips in the threads.

We will be moving to the SA area to open a dental office once my husband retires from active duty. Here's the problem.....

We have a daughter that is currently attending court reporting school in Sac, CA. She is worried about moving with us to Texas for fear of not finding a school that offers "Live court reporting". She is only in her first year of a 3-4 year program but she will be so upset if she has to start over in a new state.

Can anyone offer any help!

We look forward to our move to SA or NB!

Take care,
Debra

San Antonio College (SAC) has an associates degree program. Here's a link:

Yeah, another one of my many possible career paths.

If I remember right from when I was researching it, SAC teaches court reporting as well as real-time stenocaptioning. I wonder if her credits would transfer?

Thanks everyone for all the help. That's the million dollar question is will her credits transfer? Not too many anyway since she just started but it would be a drag if she had to start over. I think she needs to check with her school and ask them for help.

"Check with an advisor from the college or university to which you are transferring to have your transcript evaluated for transferability of courses."

Call them at (210) 733-2300.

Cheers! M2
