92.5 used to be targeted to a Black audience until 2-3 years ago.

No, and that is pathetic. Not even a black hip hop, r&b or gospel station. No black dj's, have to listen to 98.5 the beat, which is pathetic.

Pandora is the only radio I listen to. I'll listen to 105.3 at the office sometimes, but mostly it's Pandora on my blackberry or CDs.

No,
I really miss listening to the Steve Harvey Show when I lived in St. Louis.
In San Antonio, the only show that is similar is in Spanish (Raul Brindis y Pepito - 92.9) but not everybody speaks Spanish.

There's nothing better than listening to a radio show that makes you laugh every 5 minutes.

Actually, it's not pathetic considering the demographics isn't here to support a "Black" Hip Hop, R&B or Gospel formatted station. The black population in SA is roughly 7% which is not enough to have a specific station geared to the Black community. Whether you agree or not, it's reality.

Since we are talking about crappy stations I need to throw in my 2 cents, I enjoy sports talk radio. But here in SA the local programming is beyond awful, on 760 there are 2 guys who buy time on the ticket and if you want to hear the english language being butchered this is your show. At times you cannot even understand what they are saying, Mike Taylor thinks he is in Dallas and just dreadful. On 1250 Jason Minnix and Chris Duel should be ashamed to be on the radio, they get off the sports subject very easily and Minnix whines so much. But i will say Coach A is by far the only sports talk program worth listening locally, no frills and just knows what he is talking about. Just wondering if anyone else listens to 760 or 1250??

To me that sounds the same as saying
"Why have a country station, when only a few people in San Antonio are farmers"
