Speaking of Golden Wok, in my humble opinion, it has the best dim sum, bar none, here in SA. Granted, dim sum in SA is not that easy to find, so they really don't have much competition! And I am not just talking about dumplings here, but a true dim sum variety complete with bamboo steamer trays and waiters walking by with rolling carts! I don't think that the Marbach location does this, but the one on Wurzbach is always packed at lunchtime on weekends for this.

On a mildly related note, I think the lettuce wraps at Calif. Pizza Kitchen taste way better than the one's at PF Chang's--and the kung pao spaghetti at CPK rocks too!

I saw someone mention Lee's Garden at Tezel & Guilbeau...It's actually Lee's Kitchen and it's awesome. LARGE portions and good food for $7.25. I drive up there from Lackland sometimes on out 12 hour night shifts and we get dinner and a midnight meal out of our orders.

so good.

Thanks for mentioning Lee's Kitchen. I have passed by Lee's many times, and have noticed how busy it gets. I have not tried it yet. I will do so this week, sounds delicious after reviewing their menu online.

Many years ago I used to enjoy takeout from TONG THAI on Austin Highway, but they got kind of expensive to feed the family.

They do have delivery to the area now though
