I was just in Seattle and they have two Big Macs for $3, but I didn't see it until the cab ride to the ship. Is it going on here too? I totally love Big Macs, but can't bring myself to pay almost $3 just for one..

yikes! uhh, no. I did bad enough on that cruise ship. This time almost all the food was good and that's going to take some work to get rid of. I just saw the sign early in the morning last Sunday and obviously couldn't stop in and get one, plus I wasn't hungry. I'm sure Alaska has a McDonalds or two, but I couldn't find one. I did find a Burger Queen in Ketchikan and liked it so much I bought a shirt. This makes a lot more sense when you read the back of the shirt and it'll definitely get your attention

McD's always does regional promotions. What is going on in one area doesn't go on in another. We had $1.00 drinks for the summer, any size - but in Washington it was just the Large Drinks that were $1.00 - go figure. Some places get new burgers and sandwiches before everyone else does, market research.

I couldn't even think about eating 2 Big Macs. Ugh. One is bad enough.

I went to the SeaWorld McD's and they looked at me like I was stupid when I asked. So I got to shell out $3.09 for just one Big Mac. That didn't make me happy at all, except for the joy I received from eating the Big Mac. I could easily eat at least two of them, so it's probably a good thing they're so freaking expensive.

Yes, but the guy that has eaten 23,000 of them looks pretty darn good for his age. Here's the story. No pic...but they had one on TV and he looked OK. He's 6'2" 185 lbs. and walks 10 miles per day.

Man says he's eaten 23,000 Big Macs since 1972 - Yahoo! News (broken link)

Somehow, I don't think that RD is going to walk 10 miles per day!!
