1969 grateful dead concert in san antonio, tx
HI, I USED TO PLAY IN A BAND IN SAN ANTONIO IN THE LATE 60'S AND EARLY 70'S CALLED ROCKSAND. WE OPENED FOR THE GRATEFUL DEAD, QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY, AND JOHN MAYALL IN 1969 AND I HAVE NO PICTURES BECASUE WE WERE SO BUSY GETTING READY FOR THE GIG THAT NO-ONE BROUGHT A CAMERA. Man...I sooooo had pictures of that....it was the White Bird tour for Beautiful Day, at the Hemisphare arena a super long set all day long concert day of celebration.
What a great day for music and enjoyment. If I can find any of those pics, I will be happy to share with you...no mega bucks needed...just don't point ME out in the pictures!
