Question motels with weekly rates

Hi, does anyone know of any motels/hotels in the San Antonio area that have reasonable weekly or monthly rates? Preferably with a small kitchen area or at least a micro and small fridge.

We are looking for someplace to stay at the end of Oct. while we look for a home to rent. It wouldn't have to be right in the city, just near enough to use as a base until we find a house.

Thanks

Here's one, for example:
InTown Suites Metro Area Locations

No horses, though!

Here's another one, on Fred. Rd.:

I've never stayed in one of these, so I have no comment on them--just directing you to them. Good luck!

LaQuinta offers a family suite - you have to call and ask for it specifically. It has two bedrooms and a micro/fridge. And they are pet friendly. Not as transient-like as those other budget homestay places. Well, obviously it's transient...but not people living there becuase they are in between homes. Well, you would be between homes, but you know what I mean!!
Anyway, stayed at the Ingram location for about six weeks waiting for a house a few years ago. Not terrific, but I felt safe and it was reasonably priced and convenient to school, etc.

There are motels with weekly rates along both of the interstates and US 281. The biggest cluster in town is within a mile of the USAA campus along IH-10 and on Fredericksburg Rd.

There are several Value Place locations in town - normally run $200 a week and include everything you're looking for.

This is weird. I saw this tread which is almost a year old! I did not revive it however....but the last post before mine was Sept 08! I deleted my post...no need to be redundant when this person has most likely come and gone!

Get a free little pamphlet from Jim's or Denny's Restaurants. There you will find cheap hotels and motels listed + coupons and discounts.
How cheap is cheap and what areas are you looking for? ( and for how long? )
