[quote=cheermomof4girls;5372741][quote=Camper1;5371737]Are you from the Valley hi area?! ( We may have discussed this earlier, sorry)

Yes I am. I grew up on Maple Valley. My dad is still there. When you went to SW, do you remember a teacher, Bruce Stephens? I am not sure what subject he taught. His son and my husband are best friends.

Name doesn't ring a bell, but them I cant remember my own name some days. What year are you talking about? I can try to did up my year book! ha ha
It was a loooooong time ago, I graduated in 1973 and only went for an hour my Senior year. Did the work program thing.
Which end is your street? First street going up the hill by the library or at the top, last street?
It has been forever since I have been that out way. I use to walk to the elementary school thru the big empty field. Then when we moved back they had built another street ( sun Valley) and my younger sister had to walk all the way around.
My mom still lives there.

Elemetary Forbes 1-5. 6th grade Charles C Ball first year it was open. Principal at Forbes was WB Connell.
Junior High I went to WB Connell. Yep it was named after the principal of my elentary school.
High School was Highlands. Favorite teachers were Peggy Woodall for public speaking class and Mrs. Blair for history. Graduated by the skin of my teeth in 1971.

Moved around a bit so here it goes.
Started out Going to St. John Bosco, got too pricey so went from one extreme to another. Went to Gardendale, then moved and went to Thunderbird Hills which is called something different now. It's near Callaghan and Bandera. After moving again wound up going to JB Passmore, from there went to Anson Jones, then John Jay.

Morrill Elementary, Harlandale Middle and Harlandale High
I don't think anyone can forget Mr. Hazard from Morrill.
Mrs. Marrow in middle school and high school it had to be Mrs. Rodriguez in photography/year book as well as Mr Sherock (r.i.p)

We were broken up into teams at that time...I remember we were the Hobby Hawks...I was remembering what team I was on. There were three.; and I was on the Red Hawks. Wow! First class! Hobby is so huge now. I drive by there all the time to go to Huebner Oaks and it's so weird to see all the extra things that weren't there when I was there.

I have no idea what years they were.
The house is at the end down the road (Medina Base) from the library. Actually it is the corner lot that has two lots and is fenced in.
