I agree, and if the mall represents the overall feel of the city and it's burbs, making the decision to move out there may have just gotten easier.

The Shops at La Cantera is 1 million sq. ft. however construction is underway that will add 300,000 more sq. ft.

SA has 6 "malls", 7 if you include The Shops at La Cantera which is configured like a mall but without a roof. There is also a 8th mall being built right now, Park North Plaza at the site of the former Central Park Mall.

However, aside from malls SA has a ton of "lifestyle centers" i.e. Quarry Market, Huebner Oaks, the Forum, The Rim, etc, and many more under construction or being built.

Ingram Park Mall, anyone?

Situated on San Antonio's energetic Northwest side, Ingram Park Mall offers a wonderful shopping experience for the whole family. Distinct department stores include Dillard's Fashion, Dillard's Home, JCPenney, Macy's, Sears and Bealls. Ingram Park Mall also features more than 150 specialty stores such as American Eagle Outfitters, Bath & Body Works, The Disney Store, Express, Footaction USA, Gap, Gymboree, Helzberg Diamonds, James Avery, Pacific Sunwear, Express Men, Toni & Guy and Victoria's Secret. New to Ingram Park Mall are The Body Shop, Hot Topic, Vitamin World, and Children's Place.

Finding a picture of Ingram Park Mall online is almost impossible.

However, I did include it in my list of malls when I said how many there were in SA.

La Cantera is so much nicer than all the malls...But you pretty much have to be BALLIN like jim jones to really shop and get the full benefits of the mall....The "poor" side of the mall would be near macys and dillards...but crossing over the courtyard in the middle heading north...every store is ritzy. It's kinda funny. Moderator cut: personal
