Default Apts. close to Compass Hospital

I'll be moving to San Antonio in a few weeks since I got a job at Compass Hospital in North Central San Antonio.

I have a family of 4 (kids are 3 & 5)
Could you guys tell me what are the best apartments in that area (safety is my biggest concern) and my budget is up to $850 a month.

I searched on the internet and based on apartment ratings, these are the best ones:
- La Calera
- Altamonte
- Summit of Thousand Oaks
- Canyon Oaks
- Canyon Point
- The Villas of Henderson Pass
- Costa del Sol
- Stoneleigh

Thanks
