Does anyone know where I can get ahold of discontinued Wallpaper Books? I am interested in recycling them ,I use them for our classroom for art projects.

I went to Homedepot and they don't carry wallpaper anymore.

Just wondering if anyone out there gives away free wallpaper samples that have been discontinued.

Thanks

We also ran into the same issue! Try checking with interior decorators. It seems the big box retailers have gotton out of the wallpaper business.

Try freecycle also. You just never know what you'll find on there....you do have to join and get "approved" but it's worth it.

I understand your struggle. Wallpaper has not been as popular in the last decade as it was in the 80's and 90's. That's part of the reason Home Depot and other places don't have many old books on hand. It is coming back in, however.

Try KBK to the Trade. Call ahead and tell them what you are looking for. If they do not have much, they may be able to refer you to some of the larger design firms.

Also, don't forget about John Williams, Louis Shanks and Stowers. They have large design departments. They often give outdated samples to colleges and universities.

Wallpaper books are such a hassle to carry. Many businesses are happy to have someone come haul them off.

Good luck!
