Perhaps you should define how YOU use the word, and we'll see how it translates into the English that WE speak.

I didn't italicize my last post... so whatever.
Boy. You take this hill thing seriously, don't you? Loosen up. All I was really trying to say is that I have seen, in other areas of the country, hills that would seem like mountains compared to those... thing is... they WOULDN'T be mountains. Just like those AREN'T hills.

Do you ave the defined heights for hills? I mean do they start at 20 feet or 300 feet? I mean, it's only been called the Hill Country for god knows how long because they're not hills? I guess, you're right we're wrong. Goodnight Ohio!

Goodness, this is so silly, it must be an act. Brush piles bigger than the hills; I doubt it.

If they're not hills, what are they? Look up hills in the dictionary and see if they don't fit the description. They are a perfect description of what's in the dictionary.

Hill: a natural elevation of the earth's surface, smaller than a mountain.
Since a mountain is defined as being 2,000 ft., I suppose those are hills all around San Antonio - and pretty nice sized ones if you ask me. I think they're beautiful.

Drive up I-10 west through Comfort and Kerrville. Let me know when your ears pop. That is when you're officially in the Hill Country. Sure it's not "in San Antonio", but North SA is the foothills of the Hill Country.

If you're still not convinced, try telling those rich people in the Dominion that they don't live on a hill

Oh yeah, Kerrville has hills. I won't dispute that. San Antonio... no.
We're talking about the city limits here... I know there are hills outside of it.

I looked on Google Earth at San Antonio, and the topography varies from around 680 ft around downtown San Antonio to almost 1150 ft in parts of the city. That's about a 500 ft change in elevation; a fairly impressive, diverse range in elevation.
