Question Apartments in la vernia tx help please

I am so tired of the all the congestion, smog and traffic here in Austin I want to move to La Vernia TX I left So. Calif to get away from al of this an dnow it's here! La Vernia is the most cutest town small and quiet and peaceful and yet close enough to S.A. if I ever feel the need to have a nerve jerking day. Does anyone know of any Apartments there or small homes for rent. I'm burnt out "mining" and trying to save gas. Help if you can okay Thanks!

Wow....you sure narrowed it down to a pretty small window. I've found that "rentals" in small towns are often word of mouth and are rented before they ever get listed. LaVernia is REALLY small. I understand the saving gas thing, but you might want to go to LaVernia and meet with a local realtor that knows that area. You may have to wait a bit for something to become available.

You may also want to consider broadening your area to maybe McQueeney, Marion, Seguin, Gonzales and other surrounding areas on that side of San Antonio. Also Luling is a nice little burg...closer to Austin...but still in the country.

My home town. The town is exploding in growth. There are four different rental places. If you rent at the Bluebonnet gardens the man requires rent to be cash and you have to pay it to his hand. There is a new luxury place opening. I'm not sure whether it is rental or buying. I do not know your budget but there are plenty older homes in nice quiet areas "in town" that are for rent. In La vernia everyone lives around and outside of the city limits.
