Where did you hear that? It most certainly does not flood A LOT!! Don't listen to others..come visit for yourself. Of course there are some areas that are more prone to flooding that others. Do your homework while looking for a home.

Very cool Liby! Newton was great I loved living there. I spent lots of time in Watertown as well since the BSC that I worked out at was there. As far as flooding goes, San Antonio can get heavy rain at times but the city itself is not a flood crazy city. The area I'm telling you about (Redbird Ranch), isn't a flood plain. I verified that myself before buying my house. You boys will love the schools from what my friend's kids and nieces have said. Let me know if I can be of anymore help. When are you moving down here anyway? You said you're visiting first?

Jason

Thanks Jason,
Looks like our report date is the end of March. We may visit in January. We're excited. We were stationed at Dyess in Abilene years ago, and I thought we would never get back to TX. My husband is in the Contracting Squadron and they get real busy around January, but I think we will take a few days and fly down with the kids. I hope if we decide to rent, there will be something in that area. Nervous about buying right now.
Thanks again Jason,
Blessings,
Liby
