Time Warner & All the Channels they could lose
If you read the public notice in today's newspaper, TWC put in a disclaimer that there is about 10 different channels they could be losing due to contract negotiations. ABC-KSAT is just the tip of the iceberg. There is also, Sleuth, BBC, FOD, Encore (package) Dew Action sports, STARZ (package) Sportsman Channel, Outdoor Channel, I-lifety, Great American Country, Flix, Oxygen On Demand, Sci-Fi Channel, Showtime (package) TMC (package) Weather Channel, FUEL TV, Canal SUR HTV, Infinity, MOJO and La Familia Cosmovision.
What the heck is going to be left?
One change, Stuf TV is going to channel 50, ok, whatever that is.

I'm counting way more than 10.
They better not mess with my sci-fi channel!! I'm calling them!
I hate their customer service anyway.

No more Sci Fi! That I don't like. But I guess as long as QVC is not involved, I'm ok.

What they have on line, and the disclaimer that they are putting in the legals in the newspaper today are fishy, to say the least. Why would they only list the ones I put out there unless they are having problems with them.. Questionable to say the least.

I assume they're legally required to notify customers about possible channel changes, but I doubt they'll actually lose many of them. And there are always plenty of religious and shopping - and maybe religious shopping - channels to replace them.

People, please do a little research about "free to air", it is very simple it requires a satellite dish and receiver, no subscription, no monthly payments, no contracts, these are totally free anywhere all the time, best of all It is 100% legal!!

They always have a list like this up on their website and I dont think a single channel has ever been lost.
