Why is that threads, be they the least bit controversial, or present any kind of criticism of San Antonio automatically get locked? I can think of only one person on this forum (210) who turns every thread into a confrontation.

I also find it interesting how everyone else's insults off topic comments are deleted except his. I don't think someone should be able to act like a fool and get away with it.

I'm requesting some intervention here.

Don't waste your typing. I made the same complaint yesterday, and got my complaint deleted. Expect the same here. I think that the Texas moderators are less tolerant of controversy than are those in the California threads. You should see what those people post. It would make your head spin!

It's not just SA.I made a comment on the Texas forum about not being able to get a bachelors degree in Midland ( the truth) and the thread was locked down.

I get those things with 210, too. It is like everyone gets along with each other, but him. You only see arguments with him and someone else. It is as if he kisses the ground of San Antonio. One thing negative about it, and it is posts upon posts of false statements and personal attacks. I don't know why those two threads were deleted. I guess discussion isn't allowed on City-Data.

What was controversial about the "What SA needs to be a city" thread?

Sheesh.

I was going to agree with WCat about lower income people (raises hand) being priced out of the housing market..... but oh well.

That is what I was asking. I do not know what was controversial about that thread. It was going fine until 210 starts posting inside it. Don't say anything bad about SA when he is around.

Well, soon before it was locked, 210 had decided it should be locked. I guess that God had spoken...

Anyway, if no rules are being violated, why should a thread be locked just because some people find it boring, annoying, stale, inaccurate, or whatever. Those people can choose to not read or post on it. This site is like a TV--if you don't want to tune in, then don't!!

And just to set the record straight, I did not make that thread to cut up SA. Yeah, I may have been critical, but everything in that thread was suggestions to make the city a better place.

It didn't start getting ugly until 210 came with the personal attacks and confrontation.

I could care less if you dislike San Antonio with a passion. I don't.

However, if you're going to come on here and belittle the city because of your own little personal displeasures on a forum that is here to inform others in a beneficial manner, not only will I post in there to correct any and all falsehoods, I will also post in their to give the other POV which by evidence of some of the posts in here, isn't tolerated too much. You seem you'd rather people have your side and your side only of the story. Sorry, that's not going to fly.

I don't get personal with any of you and I don't curse so don't make me out to be some bad person.

As for any personal issues or problems you have with me, be more mature and bring it up with me via PM.

Who was belittling SA? Just asked for changes that they would like to see in SA, and you took offense to that.
