I may have to change my status back to "confused". If I've heard it, it must have seemed "normal"... (and I'm around a lot of teens and 20 somethings)

so....????

Not exactly just a hispanic thing but more a hispanic from certain parts of SA thing. I never really noticed it much in my area but when my high school became a magnet school we got different kids from all areas and that is when I started noticing different people from different sides had strange mannerisms and habits. Not trying to bash anyone from any other part of SA just stating a fact that I have noticed.

Yep, and it's usually followed up with a playful punch/slap.

"Me and Mark are getting married"
"Aww, for realz?"
tongue thing "IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, just playing!" slap on the arm

Ok so I kinda put 'like' in a unessassary sentence. And it sounds kind of gay. But I don't know, I just kinda write words like I would say it in real life.
