I know there was another pumpkin patch thread, however I am just looking for a nice little patch to take pics of my kids in San Antonio. Is anyone's church or group sponsoring one in San Antonio? Thanks!

I saw one a week ago on Hwy 281 North a couple of miles before the Hwy 46 exit. I also saw one last Saturday at a church on heading North on Tezel road on the left before you get to Guilbeau road.

Here are some web sites to give you some carving ideas:

This use to be the BEST patch ever...took some AWESOME pics of the grandkids there...have not been up that way this year, but if years past are any indicator, worth the drive for sure.

Have not tried the others mentioned, so might be every bit as nice.

I know it's not San Antonio, but the family for the past three years has traveled out to Medina for the Love Creek Orchard pumpkin patch. There's so much to do and the little ones love it.

I found this website where you can search for pumpkin patches. We've been to the South Texas Maize in Hondo and Love Creek Orchards. Both are a lot of fun. You can search other areas of the state if you feel like driving.

Where to find pumpkin patches, Corn Mazes, Hayrides and More in San Antonio and surrounding counties in Texas - and other useful Halloween information!

We also went to Love Creek Orchards this year and it was AWESOME. They have so much to do there. Pony rides, pumpkin painting, singing, petting farm, making scarecrows, food, face painting....it is worth the drive. But if you are wanting to go for just pictures the one at St. Thomas is good! Good luck and have FUN!
