Reading your comments make me think that I'll be happy in San Antonio
because anything below 55 is cold for me.

I guess I just have to wait until the start of summer (I believe is in March )

Lucky you guys TX has weather you would expect TX to have. But GA and the rest of the Southeast has surprisingly cool weather(excluding Florida ofcourse). I been here 10 years and still can't get used to it. I been to Dallas in April and in the morning it was already 70 degrees, in GA some June mornings don't want to be 70. Unless we get a blast of real warm air we already had our last 80 degree day here in ATL, the warmest it will get from here is 75-78 (and trust me that won't happen much) won't be til March or April til we get the 80s and the warmth back. So enjoy your TX weather I envy you guys.

I lived in Wisconsin before moving here. You won't get a lot of sympathy from me, sorry!

I am so jealous of those of you that have fireplaces. It was one of the "compromises" we made when we bought our house. 99% of the time it would be for decoration but it would be so nice on those colder nights. And it is also hard to explain how Santa gets into the house with the alarm on and no chimney!
Same here. I think we somehow managed to choose one of the very very few old houses in this area without a fireplace! I suspect their might have been one, once upon a time... and maybe again in the future there will be, but for now, nope.

We don't have gas hookups at our place but I am considering getting an electric fireplace. They look pretty realistic and would serve all the needs that we have.
I really want to hang stockings with care, darn it!

On my "iGoogle" I have both the Missouri and San Antonio weather and forecast just so I can compare and smile everytime I see what "I'm gonna be missing"

I'm thinking about going to the Missouri forum and telling them that I'm going to the beach tomorrow (Corpus Christi)

I always check the weather up there also! I think all my friends and family got tired of all my emails bragging about the weather down here! I just got off the phone with my friend from NE and was telling her it was SO cold here today. (they had a high in the 40's and were getting some snow in the panhandle) I'm evil.

Okay -- I laughed and laughed and laughed... at all the people "bundled up" this morning. Yeah, my kids had light jackets as it was cool, but turtlenecks?! Guess we've not been here long enough for our blood to thin out properly. I feel like I can really breath for the first time in MONTHS.
Not that I'm missing cold, wet, windy, nasty, dark, yucky weather... "fantastic weather" just awes me and has left me stunned. Thank you, Mother Nature!

I wonder what they thought this morning when I got in my car at 7:30am wearing a t-shirt and some shorts.
What makes it funnier is that I grew up in the caribbean and always hated cold weather.
