Trick or Treating Alamo Ranch area
This will be our 1st Halloween in Alamo Ranch, and were just wondering if any one was going to be handing out candy. Our little one is really excited, but we are not sure where to take her around here. Any thoughts or suggestions?

In Ohio, people usually left their porch lights on to indicate they are handing out candy. Is it the same way here?

I live in Caracol Creek/Heights and boy this place is just a frenzy on HW. Last year there were about 5 or 6 converted garages to haunted houses and at least one house that was bbqing dogs and gave them away to the parents walking there kids. Now it's a Friday and I am hoping an even better HW. The events I am writing on are from just last year.

Woodbury is the best place...they have older kids there so the moms and dads stay in and pass out candy. The other grants have too many little kids so the families are not home....although most leave something at the doorstep.

We live in Riverstone and last year there weren't that many families living in the area yet. So we didn't expect that many kids.
Boy were we wrong. We ran out of candies very early. I don't know where all those kids came from. We are better prepared this year.
Many of the homes in this area gave out candies last year.

Had a great turn out for Halloween! Yea! The kids were all precious and I was so pleased to hear parents encouraging their little ones to say 'Thank you' and only allowing them to take one candy. Of course, I didn't mind them taking more, but had to go with the parents decision. Thanks to all you parents out there who are teaching your children to be polite! Happy Halloween!
