Default Harvest Academy closing

After 10 Years, North-Side Private School Calls It Quits | WOAI.COM: San Antonio News

The daycare/preschool is not affected, but the K-12 will be closing Dec. 20. I wonder if this is just the first of many private schools that will be closing?

You could be right about this being the first of a larger trend.

Closing halfway through a school year like that must be putting those K-12 parents and students into a real bind.

WOW! I am really surprised! I actually looked into that school for my son and found it to be actually quite expensive and I had just assumed it was because of the location. That is quite unfortunate, sad, and a bit scary!

The school announced their plan to close last week. Tonight they invited six area private schools to an information session for parents and students. I am assuming they want all of their students placed in other schools before the end of the semester. If I were a parent of a student I would certainly want them to get settled into another school asap.
