What was happening at Woodlawn lake tonight? We live about 2 miles away and there was a fireworks show around 8pm and it lasted for 20 mins. Does anyone know what this was about?

NO WAY! Thats what I told my family, maybe it's for day of the dead, but I thought, why fireworks for day of the dead? But they sure were nice. We have a perfect view since were facing south and woodlawn is a little southeast of our house. Thanks for the info! I always know where to come for answers now.

I have a pretty good view from my patio. The finale was awesome. Some of the perks of living in this neighborhood. Firework displays in your front yard. The finale was awesome.

FYI: There is going to be a home tour of the Monticello Park homes this Sunday Nov 9 if you are interested. It cost $15 and you can buy the tickets in the Monticello Park area on Club.
