It's raining here and I have a little bitty hummer staying up under the porch getting out of the rain. He wont really land on anything, just hovering and looking around!

I wish I knew how to record it and then post it!!

I sat and watched 5 of them last night...two very young ones barely as big around as my pinky finger. They LOVE the lantana. And they weren't bothered by me being out there cleaning my flower beds one bit either. I have a feeder out too, but they always hit the lantana.

I haven't seen any Hummingbirds out here near SeaWorld. Plenty of bats dive-bombing after sunset....

I hate bats! They give me the creeps!

We realized today that its not just humming birds eating at our feeder.... we have a pair of little birds that are tipping it and drinking from it too. I am keeping my camera close to the door to see if I can catch a picture of the birds to post- I have no idea what kind of bird they are. Guess I need to spring for a better feeder.

Okay great thread guys!

I am just yearning to get moved so I can set up all my plants and feeders! I love gardening and birds and just the whole thing. Reading all these posts just put a huge smile on my face.

Say is there a seed swap or garden group in S.A.? How about a bird group?

Take Care!
