What about Isom Rd?
Eye-zum or Is-um?
I've heard it both ways...
Funny I never realized how many weird pronunciations there are here in SA until reading this. I guess they are just second nature to me!!

OK, I say eye-zum, too, but one time I was test driving a car over there and the salesguy told me to turn on Is-um. It's not much of a road so I rarely hear it said. I thought maybe I had been saying it wrong all this time, but maybe he was just new in town.

It's "Eye-some" - at least that's how everyone in my family says it and they've lived here since the 1940s.
Though, sometimes when we're tired, lazy...or drunk...it does turn into "eye-zum"

I've only heard it pronounced "Kile Seal-ee" by people who live in that area.

"Seale" is pronounced just like the seal that you can see at Sea World... (at least that is how Mr. Kyle Seale would pronounce it, and I think he should know)

Yep...if that's how the man pronounces it, then that's what it is. That was my point when I pronounced Alvarado "Al-vuh-rah-doh" and not "Al-vuh-ray-doh". That is how people with that last name pronounced it.
