The more specific about what you want or don't want, the better answer you'll get.
Do you want to live close to downtown? suburbs? somewhere in between?

Your price range and job location (commute) would help narrow down prospects also.

It would help if you could read the http://www.city-data.com/forum/san-a...formation.html sticky at the top of the page. Good information there.

....ok... commute non issue, there are wonderful city neighborhoods close to everything. price ranges 200,000 or under as we do not want to be house poor! schools biggest issue and crime. we are moving from raleigh nc. its great for little kids but there is a giant void when it comes to adult activities and stuff for teens. you go to a bar or to church. i"ts hard to meet people here" is a common complaint. we want to be able to be in a location that is friendly and fun. closer to city probably better as long as its safe.

I would suggest Northwood. It's within 410. Close to the airport and Broadway.

$200,000 would buy you a nice house. The school district is NEISD.
