Barber shop specializing in African-American hair
Hello everyone.
My family and I are fresh to the San Antonio,Texas area from Tokyo, Japan. So far we are finding things well enough, but, need to find a barber for my husband and our son.  We need a barber shop which specializes in African-American hair, and one that is not too far of a travel.
We are located off the I-10 and Wurzbach, near the Colonnades. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Thanks Mastercone. By chance would you (or anyone else) know of something a bit closer? We're not far from the South Texas Medical Center.
On the lighter side of it all...LOL.. the hubby and son are a bit thick up top now  . We arrived in San Antonio on the 17th.
As always I appreciate any help given.

Salon and Barber Services in San Antonio
When I had long hair last year, I called here and they said they specialize in ethnic hair--since mine was long and curly I was having trouble finding someone to do it PROPERLY. I ended up somewhere else, but whenever I drive by there, the lot is full. But, according to their website, they've moved down Bandera Road, so I would give them a call and see what they say. |

Well there are a few on the NW side. I dont know the names but one is on Culebra inside the bingo shopping center. And there is another on Grissom next to Valero gas station. I will try to get the names for u.
