Ate at Scuzzi's on Military and 1604 the other day. Part of the Milano's / Sausalito / Bourbon Street Fish group. Pretty good - excellent service. Touch pricey but it was worth it.

Anyone have information on Rio Mambo, 1604?
Recently a sign has been put up that they've been locked out by the landlord for rent failure. Does anyone know if they have plans to reopen in another location? I called the Ft. Worth Rio Mambo, and they said they have not been affiliated with the Stone Oak one for six months. Oddly enough, when I stopped by (Sunday, March 1) there was a huge sign that said "NOW HIRING."

May I please start a Rio Mambo-specific thread? I understand this is a catch-all thread about restaurants, but I see lots of other individual threads about specific restaurants in this forum, and given how Rio Mambo's closing was so abrupt, I would assume I'm not the only one who is interested in finding out about them, as they appeared to have pretty good business. I don't want to violate any rules, though.

Called restaurant during lunch hour and it went to voicemail with a personal message - then a mailbox full message after that. Doesn't seem like this is good news. SA location is on their website

That's what I'm afraid of, though I'm confused as to why they'd have a "NOW HIRING" sign. My hope is that this means they do plan to reopen and are planning to replace any employees they might lose in the interim.

Chuy's across from the Forum is supposed to be open starting tomorrow at lunchtime... It's where Camino Ranch used to be.
