When it came her turn to order, she sat the toddler on the COUNTER! That was all I needed to see. Haven't been back to whataburger since.
I can see how that would make a person yack up their breakfast, but how is that a Whataburger thing?

Low rent is low rent.......no matter if she's at WAB or Wendy's.

Whataburger does tend to get more people that think a little less in terms of hygeine, imo.

If you want to get price gouged, go to Popeye's chicken. The meals are good, but they are very proud of their product and their prices reflect that.

[quote=Bowie;6543511]The thing I like most about Whataburger is their ketchup. Somehow, it's different from the ketchup at other burger places. I'll usually eat fries without ketchup at most places, but I always use it at Whataburger.[\quote]

That's because its not just Ketchup, its "FANCY" ketchup!

Wendy's is better -- it's not even a contest. Whataburger's burger patties are thin and dry. They seem to make more of "dressing" the burger than they do the quality of the burgers themselves! Of course, since they charge you 69 cents for a slice of processed American cheese, it's definitely a profitable marketing thing.

You can get a quality Wendy's meal for less money than the same ole burger and fries at Whataburger. I like that you can build your own meal with a salad, baked potato or cup of chili instead of fries.

Popeye's is pricey, but I think it's a step above regular fast food, plus they bread their chicken right there on the spot. My wife and daughter could probably eat their every day.

and I like that low rent word

Popeye's chicken is good but I LOVE their red beans and rice! I often make a meal of a small red beans and rice and a biscuit! (Their biscuits are really good, too!)

Whataburger is clearly superior; no contest.
You are so correct.

Not to hijack the thread, but has anyone had a steakburger at Freddy's? You just might vote it superior to Wendy's and Whataburger.

I like Freddy's also, but in a different way. I'd definitely take one over a whataburger and Freddy's always has malt vinegar for the fries and the fluorescent green relish.
