Potranco has a huge captive audience every day starting around 5:00 PM and almost anything that opens there is guaranteed crazy business because people would rather sit and eat than sit in traffic. I'm sure all the high schools in the area keep them busy for lunch too.

I'm sure it'll settle down after the holidays.
I smiled when I saw the "Logan's coming soon" sign today! Yummy! Yeah, it's probably not a new sign but today was the first day I was going slow enough to notice it.

I'm thinking they probably aren't minding more business than they anticipated. That will hopefully open some other eyes and we can get more stuff over here.

Just behind the Best Buy--if you go in that last entrance before Lowe's you'll see where they've cleared a rather large area and they've got the "Logan's Coming Soon" sign on the corner. That place will be very popular!

Just a heads up for anyone that may be interested:
Chick-fil-a will be opening a store in February in Harker Heights (beside Killeen). Line starts forming at 6:30 am on the 4th. Bring your tent and gear because as always first 100 get that year of food. It's about a two and 1/2 hours from SA.

I'm still amazed that people will camp out for a chicken sandwich...
Reading through this thread has been educational (and a bit scary). *wink*

Anyone know what's going on? I can't imagine camping out to get a free sandwich or a few nuggets? LOL

Really?! No way!
I was surprised at ppl camping out for IKEA here in Charlotte, and I was surprised when I saw this link (for similar threads) at the bottom of the page. this is really something. Makes camping out for Ikea seem worthwhile.
