If your last name is schertz do you fit in ok if you move to the town from out of state.

Schertz is a GREAT place to live! I am sure if you move to the area and go shopping or out to eat and have to give a name you will probably be asked " Are you? .... Do you know?? Are you related to??" Members of the original Schertz family that "founded" the town still reside in Schertz. I think you will really enjoy living in the area, especially if you have a family or thinking about starting a family. Good luck!

Based on the little research I've done...
I'm interested in the area South of Schertz or maybe Cibolo.

The area closer to 1518 looks a little crappy
but the area closer to Schertz parkway looks fine.
It would be my first house, so I'm going cheap, but my kids are 3 & 5 so I'm also concerned about their safety.
Are you familiar with that area?
Would Cibolo be better (maybe get a little better house for the same price)
