Question Does anyone know what happened to Cantina Latina???

Construction to convert the former Maggie's Restaurant at 9715 San Pedro into Cantina Latina halted months ago and it now sits boarded up. The Cantina Latina sign is up, but that's it. Construction looks about halfway done...does anybody know what happened? I drive by there several times a week and remember how great Maggie's was. I asked the manager and the employees at the Valero next door and they also told me that yes, indeed, construction halted suddenly months back. There are still piles of construction dirt in front and still storage trailers in front. That is really a shame, because before construction halted they had been working on converting the building for several months.

What's really strange is that if you type in "Cantina Latina" in a Yahoo search, it IS listed as being open at 9715 San Pedro...but the number that they provide is disconnected...and the business has NEVER opened.

Can anyone please solve this mystery?

Thank You,

musicmeetscuisine
