Hello!
We r from Orlando, Fl and my Hubby got a job offer in San Antonio. We don't know anybody there. I have read so far that anything in Northwest & Northeast have great School districts "Elementary and Middle school". I'm looking to rent a house. Our Budget is tight maybe 1000. a month but It can be less. Can I get good schools, a nice house in a good area w/my budget? Pls be honest.

For a house this is what Im looking for I will love a 3/2 w/backyard.
For traveling to work "We dont care as long as we live in a safe area and great schools"

We are moving at the end of this moth.

Take a look at the relocation sticky above...it's chock full of information. You should be able to find your answers there.

I would reccomend anything in the Stone Oak area. It is the North Central side of town and is all essentially brand new. Our neighboorhood is brand new and is called The Villages at Stone oak. Anything in this area is considered to be the best public schools in San Antonio. Property taxes are high, but if you are going to rent this would be perfect if you can find something in your range. Also, a great apartment complex is The Montecristo. Again look in the masterplanned area of Stone Oak. Hope that helps!
