I guess I have given up until after we return from our long cruise to get back into the old diet...
GOOD news is I have NEVER been tempted by mexican food on a cruise! LOL

This doesn't suprise me at all, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. The Mexican food is soooo good here, and I'll take the fat friends with it over not having it. I personally like to eat healthy concious about 5 or 6 days a week, and splurge on El Chapparal Sunday after church to boost my metabolism, but I understand working out, and discipline are like your in-laws...lol. I will say that there are many other healthy concious "outdoorsy" people in San Antonio too because of the great biking, and running areas in the hills, just not enough to even it out.
Oh!, and next time I see a fatty using the "scooter" at HEB im tipping them over, and giving them a chance to run me down...lol. I know, im mean huh!? I think that walking around the grocherie store, and parking the furthest out could be the best thing that ever happend to them. Oh well, the slothfullness, and glutt will eventually around 35 - 45 be factors in population control.....

Gross but so true. People in SA wear the pounds like a badge of honor, never have I seen women wear tops with their rolls of fat clearly visible or muffin tops over their jeans without a care.
It is not too nice to know that ultimately, those of us who spend the extra time and money on fresh foods, physical activity, etc.will be the ones spending the premium to make certain that others are receiving the attention that is required for their weight problem.
EXAMPLE: How do you think HEB pays for those fatty mobiles? Mark up on what other people pay for normal items, thank goodness I dont shop there anymore.
Not to mention health care, transportation and all other sects that will raise their prices to accomodate....
