It seems the conclusion is that this poll is flawed (as most are) and there are many reasons SA floated to the surface. It could be the density of population in a certain given area.....the city boundaries...whatever. But you have to admit that NY and Miami are big surprises (no pun intended)...so what's their excuse? Personally....the city isn't the issue.....obesity is. Obese or even moderately overweight people do not WANT to be overweight. Point a finger at a "city" accomplishes nothing.....unless they provide a reason with that finger! Discussing healthy eating would be more productive....and doing it without accusatory and demeaning adjectives would be kinder and more apt to encourage those with this health issue to engage in the discussion. Calling someone a "fatty" and wanting to tip them off a scooter at the store is just hateful. That person still is a human being and for us to judge why they are overweight is unnecessary. Having a very overweight relative gives one perspective into the pain that they go through on a daily basis. I doubt any of them are sitting around "fat and happy."

I think this is something that could really work!

As long as you're on the treadmill while praying

Sorry to get off topic, but when did Abilene move beside Austin? I've just never heard anyone claim 250 miles away as "up the road".

With all the arguing we're forgetting the most important thing here...

I worked with a guy that was big enough to throw the weight and balance off a regional jet!

Around here, that bullet train would have to jacked-up with big tires and loud dual exhausts.....maybe a gun-rack for in the conductor's cockpit.
