Well, I'm an out of stater as well, but so far they've had one tornado warning for Bexar county and the National Weather Service just issued a Flash Flood Warning for the north and northwest part of the county.

OMG....we've had a tornado warning here? See what happens when I turn off the TV and decide to watch the glorious rain!!?? I'm near North downtown and have just had steady rain tonight....nothing serious. Guess I better turn on the weather channel! Thanks for thinking of us!

Nothing is gonna happen.

The weather people and sissies have an orgasm everytime a rain drop falls and wind picks up over 15MPH.

Nothing will happen.

Default Don't underestimate weather warnings....

NOvH....there's an aesop's fable you should learn......figure out which one.

This is five minutes of hail damage to my daughter's car last May during the hail storm that hit San Marcos.

Just a month ago the San Marcos police department was damaged by a tornado which is across the highway from where my daughter lives. If you hurry, you'll see the repair work going on....
Better safe than sorry with Texas weather!

BTW - yes...her car was totaled. She had been at work for a whole 5 minutes when this storm hit the Outlet Mall. They're still repairing signage to store fronts on the Tanger side of the Outlet. It took three weeks to completely sweep the parking lot of all the broken car and window glass. Thankfully no one was injured seriously in that storm.

These pictures were taken at the body shop where her car was towed. The other cars in the picture have nothing to do with that storm that I am aware of.

Well we have a decent line of storms moving through the area -- biggest threat overall just some heavy rain and lightning. I do not think this line is severe and it will not produce anything in the way of tornadoes. Here and there we may be able to pick up some hail out of it. But thats about it. Beyond this, we should be done tonight in terms of severe weather since the atmosphere is finally in the process of stabalizing -- temporarily!

There were reports of a funnel cloud reported just east of HWY 281 in Comal County and tornado reports over in Blanco County earlier tonight.

Flash Flooding is the biggest concern -- flash flood watches in effect through at least 12 noon tomorrow. I do think that will be reconfigured or extended.

This is all in association with a stalled out area of low pressure over west texas. This is generating the lift and instability in our atmosphere that allow these storms to fire up -- and its a good thing they did so that we could put a dent in the drought we're experiencing.

And notice that I said the low has stalled out -- that means that until it moves, we will be under the gun through wednesday (yes -- tomorrow and Tuesday we could be dealing with some more heavy rain). Don't wash your cars! hehe

Beyond that -- the remainder of the week looks dry, but next week we could get another system moving through based on longer range models.
