Yes, I would walk into the place. There and anywhere else you can think of. There are plenty of part time jobs out there if you are willing to look for them. Most of the places that allow you to apply on line never look at those apps. They are hiring the people that call or come by.

If you want a job, go find one. Good luck.

Don't wait for a help wanted sign, if you want to work there, call them. They may be hiring and just waiting for p[people to call.

Ok, I actually went in today and had a really good interview, but a second manager said they are looking for more experience. So I recommend going if you've had serving experience, or lie and say you do!

They told my son they had over 200 applicants, were already overfilled. He has worked at two restaurants in the past, and has experience, went in early yesterday, and they acted like they were tooooooooooooooooo full, but, good luck on trying. Walk in after 10 am anyday til 4pm

or apply a little while after they've opened. From what my wife has told me, most people here quit or just stop showing up after a while. She is a manager at one of the better paying retail places, so I don't know why people do that. I would think many people would stick with something and try to become a valuable employee so they get to keep their job.

Went to Cheddar's in Bryan/College Station. It was a great meal at a decent price. I was so excited to see one being built here.

Drove by yesterday, they have a big sign out front that says 'Now Hiring' so I suspect it will be soon...

(Their web site (http://www.cheddars.com/CHD/06/Local/restaurant.asp?rstid=93 - broken link) says 'June 2009')

Cheers! M2
