Does anybody know why restaurants take so long to open after they have been built? I don't know anything about the business, so I'm looking at it from the eyes of a consumer, but I would think they would want them open as fast as possible. Almost anything that opens in this general area is almost guaranteed success because the market has been neglected for so long. I would think the owners would want as much cash as they can get right now, but that doesn't seem to be the case. This particular restaurant has looked like it's been done for weeks now.

Refrigeration problems, plumbing problems, getting all the city inspectors out to approve you, training and personnel problems, electrical problems.......trust me, there is a high blood pressure problem at that site, without a doubt. Yes, they are probably dying to get open, but it's not just up to one person.

A mod merged my thread with this one. That's why it made my post sound wierd.

Sweet, all these C-D kids gonna hook us up!

Does anyone's kid work at Red Lobster, Friday's, The Egg and I? Anywhere??

Even a non-chain, but you hate to get "hooked up" there since it's a small business owner and they can't take the hookups for long.
