LOL, now THAT is funny!

I would love an IKEA here, but the one in round rock is kinda blah compared to Dallas and Houstons. Hopefully they do something nice with it.

And hey, since I'm opening a new restaurant in Alamo Ranch, let's put the IKEA there too!

Coincidentally, both are in the works for The Rim. I believe C&B is a done deal; IKEA is still a work-in-progress last I heard.

Adding both of those would do wonders for the traffic counts at The Rim. For obvious reasons, I hope it doesn't happen before there are improvements to that interchange at I-10 and 1604.

Hmm... I really don't like IKEA's furniture, seems cheaply put toghter, and some of my friends who have had things from there said they fall apart after a short time. I'd like to see something very upscale as far as furniture! Not Ethan Allen, or Louis Shanks, etc...I mean REAL upscale. I'd rather pay alot for a piece of furniture that's hand crafted, and going to last an entire lifetime than for something I am going to have to replace in 3 - 5 years.

Oh! Plus IKEA's buildings look horribly tacky on the freeway.....kinda like one of those colorfull shaved ice stands on growth pills!!

I happen to agree regarding the quality of IKEA's furniture...but I got blasted when I posted that, the last time it came up! I used stronger words than you though...something like "it looks like lower income folks" furniture.
Let the flames begin!

:
You assemble IKEA furniture yourself... one of the reasons why it is so cost effective. That and they can pack them flat (in boxes) so they can ship more for cheaper. So, if it falls apart, isn't that the assembler's fault?
