Well, they sure managed to screw the Taste section up IMO. The Taste section is still printed on Wednesday with recipes, but now resturant reviews and dining stories are printed on Friday in the SA Life section, and Food Flashes and Readers Questions are also in SA Life.

It was nice having everything in one nice section per week.

that was retarded. I liked it just the way it was and actually looked forward to reading it and the HEB ad every Wednesday.

I am not happy with the newspaper. They want me to pay over $200 for an annual 7-day subscription. They must be smoking crack....

Now they have you reading the paper two days a week instead of one. From their perspective....it's Mission Accomplished.

I checked it out when I got home and was disappointed to see only four pages, but the layout seems a little better and more colorful. I still like it better the other way, though.

I found the very large pictures of the columnists kind of disconcerting. Nowhere else in the paper do they do that. Maybe I'm spoiled by the lack of pictures and avatars here at City-Data, but it seemed like the space could have been better used for pictures of, um... food.

The Sky Is Falling

I think the newspaper is going the way of the post office and checks.
