Lackland services...
I worked through a contractor at the base hospital at MacDill in Florida, and have really great references...I was wondering if any of ya'll on here work for or know of any of the companies that have contracts with Lackland.
I don't really know where to start looking, as the job at MacDill started by "knowing someone who knew someone"...
thanks for any info

You're gonna have to provide more info. Are you looking for a medical job at Wilford Hall, or just a contractors job at Lackland? What kind of work are you qualified to do?
There are several of us on here who are contractors at Lackland, but most work on Security Hill doing jobs that require clearances and primarily in intel or computer/network ops (to generalize). But there are also folks on here who are in the medical field if that is what you are looking for. But once again, you gotta be more specific; especially since when you say 'services' in the USAF most people think of MWR and the chow halls...
Oh, and you might want to take a look at this thread!
Cheers! M2

No, I'm sure I don't want that kind of job! LOL
Maybe in medical again, or something with general office duties. Customer service...I wouldn't mind working at one of the Inns, as long as it wasn't cleaning rooms.
I'm not sure what I'm "qualified" to do. Probably just general things. I've yet to finish a college degree...
I'm not really sure...hope this helps a bit.

USAJOBS - The Federal Government's Official Jobs Site
Here's the website for gov jobs. Should give you a jumping off spot anyway.
Good luck!

One of the Contractor for WHMC is Angelstaffing. There are some others that are admin type of positions, I'll try and get you a few names from some friends that work as contractors there. I THINK Angelstaff is medical professionals only (Dr, Nurses, etc....) but I do know some folks that are retired admin troops that are working there as contractors, and will ask and post!
PS...on leave today, so will check into it tomorrow.

I believe my neighbor may work for Angelstaffing as well. She is a registered nurse and a contractor at WHMC. I will see if she has any info as well...
