CPS Energy called me about replacing ours--seems they have been having problems with the units not communicating properly . Call their Home Energy Manager partner office at (888) 667-1408.

Don't know your specific model number so I can't tell you exactly how to do it but the Honeywell stat has a cycles per hour setting that you can adjust. It will cycle on and off without heat, fan only, to more evenly distribute air in the house. This can be perceived as blowing cold when it really is just the fan. Your higher bill is likely just a result of the change in season. Electric resistance heat is an energy hog. Google your thermostat model number to find the manual online and you can find how to adjust the cycle rate.
