I think the OP is the bride--or the groom, I can't tell which. But generally when you're leaving on your honeymoon the following Monday, you're either the bride, groom, or Kenny Chesney.

now that I know you are the bride, you should stay downtown. enjoy the beauty of the riverwalk. given the time of year and amount of excess rooms, you should be able to get a good deal.
