I recently flew out to TX to check out hill country (austin-new braunfels)
I really enjoyed New Braunfels---it was quaint, small town charm but had big cities close by. The restaurants seemed great, the growth potential seemed amazing!!
My question though...
What about the schools? I wasn't sure the public schools seemed very good? Are they adding new schools due to the growth? Is there a better school system close by that would be better? I would send my kids to private schools, but I would want them to go a Prep school and I didn't see that available in N.B. so just wondering what you all thought of the schools and if u had any recommendations?!

Thanks for advice!!

Prep schools are not yet a common occurance in Texas. Even some of the smallest town, Lexington for example, can have one of the highest ranked elementary school and the town has a poplutation of about a 1000 people. Another example is the small town of Thorndale Texas, who excel's in sports even being a class 1a school, every year. (both towns are an hour north of Austin)

But in General prep schools are not a common occurance. Some private schools are good in S.A and Austin both.

but in answer to your question, Schools in N.B are not bad. Just typical
