St. Benedict in King William
Been under construction a couple of months now, walls can be seen going up from the street. Price point is between the S. Flores stuff and Vidorra, starting in the $180's, low condo fees, designed to integrate into the King William neighborhood. Liberty Bar is buying the old house/convent on site with plans to open a restaurant/bar. Should be good. Just now starting to release info.

Insomniac, I remember reading a couple of months ago that once the first tower was 60% sold/had deposits, they would start construction on the second. The latest info I've heard is that tower 1 is half-sold. Do you have any updates on this?

I think SA has the potential to have one of the best skylines in the country. Only because the skyline is so spread out (kinda like Atlanta), unlike the typical big city skyline. But anyway, I can't wait to see what the skyline looks like when all of the new towers are completed!!!

What has been said all along is that once tower 1 is 80% pre-sold (that means purchase contracts), they will start sales on tower 2. The 60% figure was to begin construction on tower 1. They began construction a little earlier than the 60% presale threshold. (I don't know what percentage the sales are at currently. You could always call the sales center and ask. )

Don't know much more than the RE industry heresay. Most likely its a plan that could be 2 yrs out, 10 yrs or never. If they could buy and expand into the Republic bldgs eblow replacement cost, than that would make the most sense, assuming they can get enough parking.
