Default woai promo spots

has anyone seen the promo spots on woai that feature the b&w intros of the 50s , and early 60s. I was trying to figure how they manage to have surving footage of that.

Presumably the tape it's on is still around and they either had it transferred to a more modern format at some point, or still hold on to an old machine that can play it. I mean, I still have a box of old reel-to-reel and Super 8 movies shot by various relatives. Properly cared for and stored, that stuff can last for a good while.

Yep, I have film reels of news stories shot in the 1950s/60s from the Rio Grande Valley. Interesting stuff. News was more compelling then!
