LOL....Have you read this thread? Did you see the pics? She ATE half of the plastic floor in a metal crate. This little pooch is a buzz saw! She eats chew toys for snacks!

I'm talking about a solid plastic crate..not those cheap metal crates with plastic floors. Those solid plastic ones are $50 and quite sturdy. Sure the dog will chew, yes, but not the way out overnight...would take the dog months to do so. Cheap $50, IMHO.

This kennel wasn't cheap and I am loathed to spend more money on this dog I don't even want in my home! That being said, I just dropped her at the vet's for her first round of HW treatment, yikes! They give her a pain shot first as the shot into the lumbar can really hurt.

We had a britney spaniel that had parvo before we got him from the humane society. We brought him home and he ate through several plastic kennels. He also bent the wires on a metal crate and got out numerous times, chewed through the hose on the back of our toliet (causing a huge flood) got ahold of a feather pillow, (we picked up feathers for weeks-the ceiling fan didn't help), would run and slide across our coffee table leaving huge scratches, chewed our furniture, etc...I personally think the parvo made him a little unstable. We had to give him to my mom and dad who had a farm so he could have more room to wear himself out.

This doggie sounds like a very similar personality. I empathize.

Ask the doc for some Valium for your dog, or something that will calm him/her down.

Wish I could. My Dad has since passed and my Mom lives in an apartment. Even if they were still on the farm, I don't think they would fall for that one twice. That dog was trouble for them too! He would just run in circles until he collapsed.

When we saw him at the humane society, he was fine. We went to pick him up and they told us he had parvo and they would put him down unless we still wanted him, then they would try and treat him. Of course, we didn't want to see him put down so we saw him through it. I truly believe the high fever did something to his brain.

Anyway, I hope that you can find a home for your troublemaker soon. Sounds like he needs a place that he can burn off all that excess.

Default Lucky Green :)

I am so sorry you lost your Daddio, I am sure Father's Day isn't the same without him

Your little doggy is EDIBLE! How sweet is that tiny face? I wish Rabbit had a ranch to run and run upon, although she likes to snuggle too! Rabbit is OK, poor baby being kennelled Trying to keep her well, xx
