I still don't follow your logic.

If they take the stuff out of boxes clearly marked with the retail store's logo it's not exactly "allegedly stolen", it is stolen. I don't know of many, if any, retailers that sell to Flea Market entreprenuers. If they do somebody has to produce a "Wholesaler's License".

I think Dube is saying that it seems to be people with money (maybe Stone Oak residents) who are complaining the most about alleged stolen goods and are passing judgment about people who have to stretch their dollar and shop at flea markets. Not every flea market vendor is a thief and not every shopper is committing a crime.

I see where you're coming from, but unless you have proof positive, it's still allegedly stolen. Remember innocent until PROVEN guilty.

I understood his point. And you're right that not every vendor is a thief. But there are more than just a few that are. And the shoppers buying from the thugs just don't know they are committing a crime. They clearly stated on the news that purchasing ANYTHING that is stolen, whether knowingly or unknowingly is a crime.
It's the same problem at pawn shops.....it's just not enforced. The big hub bub is that someone is finally paying attention. There are PLENTY of $$ stores all over the city for people watching their pennies. You just can't bargain there like you can with a flea market vendor. That's half the fun!

My post was directed at mpd33. She/he/whatever seemed confused about Dube's post.
So, if you understand that not every vendor is a thief, how are you going to tell him apart from one who is (other than retail logo on the merchandise)? Ask him, 'hey did you boost this?' or 'show me a receipt proving that you paid for this?' It's a gosh darn flea market!

Then the seller shouldn't have a problem showing you their Wholesaler's or Re-Seller's License and telling you where they got it, right ?? (try it sometime....you'll see some of the best tap-dancing this side of Vaudeville)

No, they shouldn't, and what's your point? Look, if you believe that EVERYTHING at the flea market is stolen and you don't want any part of it, then don't go. Most people, however, just don't give it a second thought. If anyone cares enough to ask to see a license, then a legitimate seller won't have a problem. Unfortunately, if the wrong person is asked, the one asking is going to have a bigger problem than the possibility of buying stolen goods.
