funny thing about mileage.. a less restrictive muffler not only increases the noise level, but it should also increase mileage. However, enjoying the noise, especially on revs, makes me drive less econonomical and my mileage has stayed about the same. I know it got better, though, because during the times that I am driving as economical as possible, the mileage readout on the dash goes up more than it used to.

I'd say you could get me jealous by going to the Slinging ink and me not going, but we decided today that we'd go, so.....

Absolutely! This is an interesting project. I'm doing stuff on the outside at the same time. A whole make-over pimp on the truck.

Now I'm eyeing some different head/trail lights and having palpitations of lust. *sigh*

I need someone to teach my wife how to see beauty in steel, whether it's on a truck or a gun you're holding in your hand..

I still haven't completely convinced my wife to go to Slinging Ink, but if we do, it'll be on Sunday.

I get around 32mpg in the highway with a 346 V8 Mods: CAI, Tune, Cat-Back Exhaust, 4.10's, Ported MAF. But then again thats when I just cruse, but if I mesh the pedal I see my fuel gauge drop in a heart beat.

American Muscle you gotta love it!

I forgot all about slinging Ink

When I did my CAI I gained about 15hp but more impressively I gained about 40ft/lbs of Torque In my opinion it was well worth the money I spent.

For the next step I suggest you take out all the emissions provisions you have. I still have my EGR I wont be able to take that out till the end of the year probably, when I get my twin turbo kitt
